The Other House, London – Stay a Night, a Week, a Year or More

Shaped through a residential lens rather than a conventional hotel approach, The Other House provides all of its residents with apartment-style living, a private club and hotel services on tap – offering something completely unique for those wanting to live like a local, whatever the length of stay – be it a day, a month or a year.

The Other House South Kensington houses over over 200 Club Flats, private meeting and dining rooms and exciting event spaces. Its Private Club, open to residents and local members, includes two bars, a screening room and an extensive wellness and wellbeing offering, including a vitality pool, state-of-the-art gym and wellbeing studio.

For a more local vibe, there is an all-day street café, The Other Kitchen, a destination cocktail bar, The Owl and Monkey, and The Library, all open to the public.

Viajes de grupos

Perfect for those looking for longer-term family stays or weekends away with friends, Club Combos are a specially designed range of Club Flats which can be combined to suit groups of four to ten. Each Club Flat combo is accessed by its own main front door so you can enjoy complete privacy and independence. The newly released Club Courtyards are centred around fabulous two-story tree-filled courtyards, and made completely private through grand double doors, with single key access.

Design Inspiration

Founder of The Other House, Naomi Heaton, has worked closely with the award-winning, London-based, Bergman Design House as interior design partner. The Club Flats, located off corridors with alternating designs and colours to create a changing ‘streetscape’, are all named after famous local residents so each has its own unique ‘address’. Boldly designed eclectic spaces, they comprise a sitting room, kitchenette, bedroom and elegant shower room. They are saturated with rich colours, think teal blue, deep green and oxblood red, and layered with velvets, British tweed and bold botanical prints. Laser cut metal screens with a burnished gold and brass effect, with tree, leaf and Art-Deco designs often feature as artwork separating the bedroom and the sitting room. Shower rooms reflect the same colour scheme as the main living areas to create a sense of flow and continuity of space.

Sustainability

The Other House has been recognised as Global and Regional Sector Leaders for Sustainability by GRESB Real Estate Assessment 2022. Its commitment to having a positive environmental impact begins by refurbishing and repurposing historic buildings and building in the most sustainable way possible. From using eco-conscious materials, British-made fabrics and furniture and carrying out lifecycle assessments to using electricity rather than gas and serving sustainable food and drink from low-waste kitchens, sustainability informs every decision that is made within their daily operations.

It enables its residents to choose if they want to be part of this journey, from how much housekeeping they want to monitoring how much energy The Other House is using.
