Discerning diners have long savored the gourmet cuisine offered by The Peninsula Paris’s award-winning chefs. Now, and for the first time, food enthusiasts are invited to join – and learn from – members of the legendary hotel’s culinary team. To launch The Peninsula Academy, a new collection of immersive program for guests, the Avenue Kléber palace will offer a series of special food-related workshops this summer.

Participants in these Peninsula Academy offerings will get the chance not only to interact with the hotel’s culinary stars right in the kitchens where they work, but also to learn some of the secrets behind their signature creations. The program include a tour of the hotel’s rooftop vegetable garden with Executive Chef David Bizet, wine-tasting with Chef Sommelier Florent Martin, a dessert-making class with Pastry Chef Anne Coruble, and a Dim Sum-making workshop with LiLi Chef Tak Lau Yuen.

Tucked away on The Peninsula Paris rooftop is a small green oasis, where the hotel’s chefs grow a variety of herbs and edible flowers for their culinary creations. A special Peninsula Academy experience lets guests learn about these ingredients, and sample some of them, alongside Executive Chef David Bizet – whose own Michelin-starred cuisine spotlights fresh and locally grown produce. After exploring the garden, participants can enjoy some of Chef Bizet’s exquisite dishes with an elegant lunch at L’Oiseau Blanc, the top-floor restaurant that takes French gastronomy to new heights.
