OPUS recently celebrated 20 years in the heart of Yaletown, Vancouver’s SOHO-like restaurant and boutique district. When we first opened our doors, OPUS Vancouver was a marvel – a sexy, sensational wunderkind making its mark on the stately world of luxury hotels. It combined exceptional service and high-end amenities with boldly beautiful style and a cheeky personality… it was an immediate hit with Vancouverites and visitors alike.
Color Your World
Recently refreshed and inspired by five ‘muses’, OPUS Vancouver’s interiors offer a colorful connection to the hotel’s unique personality. Choose from the daring and dramatic reimagined Hollywood glam and Roosevelt Taupe of Dede’s Signature Suites or Susan’s stylish, sensual and sophisticated rooms in California Lilac. Pierre’s vibrant and outgoing décor includes sunny Hermès Orange walls offset by earthy tones and Billy’s OPUS room décor is an artful and eclectic Liverpool Green, while Mike’s modern and minimalist décor features Cranberry Red.
Cycle the City
Explore the city on two wheels, with easy access to Vancouver’s Seawall and dedicated bike lanes on the doorstep. Guests can hop on an electric bicycle to explore the sights. Free to guests, the bikes can be booked for three-hour blocks, giving plenty of time to follow the free map to the best destinations in the city from fueling up with food at Granville Island Market to riding around the Seawall to Stanley Park.

In collaboration with Vancouver-based Tallu & Co, OPUS Vancouver offers a custom collection of essential oil blends, designed to combat jet lag, and wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Handmade in Vancouver, the essential oils are organic and are created by Vancouver-based equestrian, Katherine Evans who turned the heartbreak of losing her horse Preston into inspiration for creating custom blends to help animals (and humans) feel better.
Ciao and Chow at CAPO & The Spritz
Relax and unwind at Capo & The Spritz: the former, a true neighborhood Italian gem, and the latter, a cozy, sophisticated cocktail bar nestled just off the lobby. A collaboration between OPUS Vancouver and Autostrada Hospitality, Capo & The Spritz is led by Executive Chef Kevin Lohnes and his flavor-forward Italian fare. Capo is a hub for Yaletown locals, Vancouverites, and out-of-towners alike. The vibe is come-as-you-are for Chef Lucais Syme’s 36-hour fermented, sourdough pizza, topped with locally sourced ingredients and wood-fired to perfection. The Spritz offers the classics, as well as original libations that speak to the romance and craftsmanship of Italy’s aperitivo culture.
Cheers to Zero-Waste Cocktails
Raising the bar for eco-friendly beverages, The Spritz’s Bar Manager Alannah Taylor works in collaboration with the Capo culinary team to share and re-use ingredients to develop custom juices, infusions, and other delights to create innovative zero waste cocktails that taste great and limit its carbon footprint.

Adding a sparkle to staying in, OPUS Vancouver’s Beverage Butler brings the bar to guests, with handcrafted cocktails from The Spritz, delivered right to the room or suite within five minutes of ordering.
