Fitness
Complimentary to hotel guests, the 11,000 square foot Wave Health & Fitness is one of Boston’s finest clubs. Wave features Pelotons, Cybex equipment, and both in-person and on demand classes. After a workout, guests can rejuvenate in the sun-lit indoor pool or steam rooms, and massage services are available by appointment.
Sustainability/Corporate Responsibility
Recognized by Fodor’s as one of North America’s five greenest hotels, the Seaport is dedicated to the art of sustainable hospitality, living in harmony with the natural environment. From the start, guests have been encouraged to participate in the property’s conservation efforts. The hotel was one of the first in the country to offer a smoke-free environment upon opening in 1998. Similarly, Seaport was the first Boston hotel to offer in-room recycling and the first to use a composting system. The 1 million honey bees who call Seaport home produce hundreds of pounds of honey annually, which is used in the restaurants. Complimentary electric vehicle charging stations are found in the Seaport Garage and guests arriving via hybrid or electric car receive a night of complimentary valet parking.
As an independent and locally owned hotel, Seaport has always been a community driven organization, believing that social responsibility means partnering with other individuals and organizations within our community to ensure their success. We are proud of all of our corporate social responsibility projects, such as working with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes in the greater Boston area, and hosting an annual toy drive to support Christmas in the City. Whenever possible, Seaport’s guests are encouraged to participate as well.
The Seaport Hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of Boston’s Seaport District, making it the ideal ‘home away from home’ when visiting the city.
