The Upper House is a highly individual, small luxury hotel designed by Hong Kong architect André Fu. The hotel’s 117 rooms, including 21 suites, André Fu Suite and a Penthouse, start at 730sq ft – the largest in Hong Kong. All guest rooms feature spacious bathrooms, dressing areas and offer either scenic harbor or island views. Calming and contemporary, the rooms are designed to provide a sense of relaxation, warmth and understated luxury.
Unveiled in 2021, Salisterra crowns the top floor of The House and captures the richness of the Mediterranean with the warmth and familiarity of a neighborhood bistro. Helmed by Canadian native Executive Chef Cary Docherty, who is known for his culinary trademark of refined but relaxed deliciousness, the menu takes an expressive and seasonal approach with fresh, vibrant flavors.
Designed in homage to the enduring relationship between the renowned designer and The Upper House, the André Fu Suite is his only namesake suite in the world. Enhancing Fu’s original design intention to create a sophisticated and modern residence, the one-bedroom suite is a secluded space for guests to relax or entertain, adorned by a calming palette of mineral blue, dusty mink and pale ivory.
Bringing together health and luxury hospitality under one roof, The Upper House presents a diverse range of wellness experiences in residence. Discover dynamic and bold full-body sculpting workouts with FAMILY FORM, disciplined and centring practices with GOOD Yoga, and shamanic energy sessions with V Healing.
