Locke de Santa Joana. A restored convent turned destination aparthotel in the heart of Lisbon.

Lisbon is drenched in historic charm. As is our boutique style hotel, set in a former 17th century convent. Spacious, serviced apartments blend original architecture with contemporary color and furnishings. Each with cozy lounge space for work or chill, most with their own kitchen. There’s also a courtyard and pool, onsite gym, and co-working space. Make your next holiday (or business break) feel like home with Locke.

Apartments.

From preserved interior details to artifacts displayed in the cultural gallery, our Lisbon hotel unites the past and present. A playful style flows throughout 370 thoughtfully designed serviced apartments, ideal for business travellers and corporate stays. Many of the cozy yet spacious studios come with fully equipped kitchens, complete with appliances like washing machines and dishwashers, ensuring a seamless blend of comfort and convenience.

Spaces.

A vibrant array of shared spaces tailored to elevate your experience, including an invigorating gym, collaborative co-working area, versatile meeting and event facilities mean you won’t need to leave. And a sun-kissed courtyard featuring a seasonal swimming pool paired with plenty of restaurants and bars mean you won’t want to either. Luxury, yet affordable. Homely, yet indulgent.

Eat and drink.

For early morning coffee and late night Negronis. Breakfast with friends and small plates with colleagues. There’s a space for every moment at Locke de Santa Joana.

Castro’s is the hotel’s reception café serving a menu of pastries, cakes, cookies, fresh fruit and grain bowls, a selection of sandwiches, juices and fantastic coffee. A convivial and relaxed space for co-working, hotel guests and local residents alike.

And in Santa Marta you’ll find an all-day pool side restaurant inspired by the diverse flavors of the southern Mediterranean region. Rich, flavorsome traditions, indulgent, healthy, and full of character, Santa Marta presents a contemporary offer. Dishes include wood-fired pizza and seafood, hand crafted pastas and classic cocktails.

Listen.

You won’t have to go far to sample Lisbon’s music scene. At Locke de Santa Joana you can find two unique music led spaces. The first is The Kissaten. A Japanese-inspired listening bar offering Lisbon’s largest whisky selection together with an extensive library of music on vinyl.

Then, Spiritland. The first international venue for London’s audiophile pioneers. The Lisbon venue will be a late-night DJ and cocktail bar serving twenty classic and house cocktails together with a small beer and wines selection.

DJs will play a broad range of music reflecting the full spectrum of Spiritland’s music policy, from jazz, rock, soul and reggae to electronica, pop and genres further afield. The DJs are drawn from Lisbon’s musical scene, Spiritland’s London residents and the many travelling artists passing through.

Local Neighborhood.

Steps from the capital’s largest central park and deemed one of the most beautiful places to visit in Lisbon, is Avenida da Liberdade. The city’s designer district. Where international stores sit between upmarket restaurants, attracting a cool, creative crowd from the surrounding business hub.

Lisbon’s got more than Pastel de Natas and colorful tiled façades. The city’s restaurant and café culture is booming. As is its art, fashion and nightlife scene. Then there’s the green parks, cobbled hills and fascinating history. Experience it all from Locke de Santa Joana. Your starting point for seeing the city in style. With a Metro station minutes away, you’ll have easy access to the whole city, from the MEO arena and Centro Cultural de Belem to the Fil congress center.
